wildUp songs

Last month I did two arrangements for wildUp’s “salt of the earth” program.   The recordings are in and they sound great. My task was to arrange an art song and and a folk song — so I chose Schubert and Wilco!  I thought it would be interesting to try and make the folk song sound more like an art song and the art song sound more like a pop song (what’s the difference really?).
